In the 21st century, we have entered a completely new era with information technology being a basic component for economic development and our daily life. Meanwhile, application of information technology in agriculture has become one main symbol and assurance of agriculture modernization, and it is now an essential requirement for modernization,efficiency,commercialization,concentration and sustainable development of agriculture. Nowadays, information technology in agriculture has stepped on to an industrialization stage, and it has achieved great accomplishment in the fields of agriculture information in-situ processing, multi-media, system simulation, agricultural expert system, decision support system for agriculture, remote sensing, geographic information system, GPS, computer network for agriculture, artificial intelligence, E-commerce for agriculture, etc.

In order to stimulate the development of intelligent information technology in agriculture and enhance international communication and cooperation, the 4th International Symposium on Intelligent Information Technology in Agriculture will be held in Beijing Friendship Hotel from Oct.26th to 29nd, 2007. Some renowned experts all over the world will be invited to give oral presentations. By conference communication, worldwide achievement on application of agriculture information technology will be demonstrated, and development strategies and construction plans about application of information technology in domestic agriculture will be discussed.

Please indicate your expected presentation form in your registration letter so that the organizing committee can make arrangement for you. Proceedings for the Symposium
The proceedings for the symposium will be published. Please write papers in English and make sure to edit them according to the required format.
